General email settings

Our email servers use some general settings, which vary only in the details

Do remember that you will have access to a web based email service. Details will be sent to you when we set up your email.

Username		This will always be the FULL email address. (e.g. test@vector7.co.uk, rather than test).
Password		We will send this to you, it will be case sensitive (e.g. test will be different to Test).

Incoming mail server (POP3)		This will be your domain name preceded by mail. (e.g. mail.vector7.co.uk). Port 110
Outgoing mail server (SMTP)		This will be the same as the incoming mail server. The outgoing server will require authentication using the same username and password as the incoming mail server. Port 25
		N.B. You can use a different outgoing mail server so long as you are permitted to use it. This can be your ISP's outgoing mail server, but you will often need to use your ISP login username and password. Problems most often occur here, and we have some simple solutions for you, here.
